Because anyone from Part I has the feats to match his speed, break out of Genjutsu or even damage his Susano'O... etc. If he was really from the Part II, even from war-arc, the man who matched B's and KM Naruto's speed wouldn't be even hindered by any f these villans. ]. This was the Naruto that was much faster than non-weigh Lee in Part I.

Regardless any of the ninja's you pit against Itachi, will stand no match for his speed nor his arsenal. Part I Itachi gave Kakashi, Asuma and Kurenai all run for their money alone with pure speed.

I won't even bother with the Edo Tensei that even Hiruzed kept up with and almost killed if they weren't made out of paper.​

ET is really ****ing scary. I'd poop myself fighting an FTG-less Tobirama, and an SM/1000 hand buddha-less Hashirama.

Sound 5 is really threatening. I'd be afraid of the 4 that struggled in CM2 to take out 2 fodder Jonin, and a 5th guy that hardly beat Part 1 Gaara.

Haku is pretty dangerous himself too, I mean Zabuza did say he killed Jonins, and it even took 1 tomoe sharingan Sasuke to track him!

Zabuza pushed Part 1 Kakashi to his limits as well, definitely a key part of this fight.

Oh and Good ol' Kabuto was said to be equal to part 1 Kakashi.

Just because Itachi can murk them individually, doesn't mean he'll be able to defeat them while they are collaborating.
Regular Genjutsu, or Sharingan Genjutsu is deemed ineffective because of the partner method.

Jirobo: Powerful Doton, CM2, able to trap Itachi in his chakra absorbing earth prison.

Kidomaru: Chakra blocking armor, High speed arrows, Summons, extremely durable webs, CM2

Tayuya: Doki Demons CM2

Sakon: Durable body, CM2, can split in two.

Kabuto: Chakra scalpel, medical ninjutsu, advanced self healing.

Totsuka seals all Snake Summons and Genjutsu = GG. Itachi decimates Orochimaru with only Part 1 feats.

I never ever thought I would say this, but this is he of the rare cases where Totsuka blitz is actually a viable option. Part 1 Edo Hashirama and Tobirama are fodder, and got caught by a blinded old Hiruzen.

Gets blitzed.

Zabuza: Hidden Mist, Kubikiribocho, expert Kenjutsu, water prison.

Gets blitzed, his Kenjutsu got beat by Kakashi with Kuanis, Itachi does the same. Zabuza is never trapping Itachi in Water Prison, but if he miracoulsly did, Susano'O breaks him out, or Genjutsu.

Kimimaro: Shikotsumyaku, expert Taijutsu, impressive speed CM2

He is one of the few that could actually be a threat, but Amaterasu should do the trick.

Jirobo: Powerful Doton, CM2, able to trap Itachi in his chakra absorbing earth prison.

Blitzed, Genjutsu, Totsuka, Susanoo arm smash, Amaterasu.

Kidomaru: Chakra blocking armor, High speed arrows, Summons, extremely durable webs, CM2

Blitzed, Genjutsu, Susanoo arm smash.

Tayuya: Doki Demons CM2

Amaterasu takes out every single of them (Orochimaru did not show Oral Rebirth in Part 1 to my knowledge, and the purpose of this thread is for Itachi to face stricktly part 1 Characters). Most of them are prone to Genjutsu, most of them get blitzed, and only Kimmimaro has a way to bypass Susanoo, and only Kimmimaro and Orochimaru can deal with its offence.

Because Sasuke fought individually the entire Team 7, and was much slower than Itachi at that time. Because Itachi fought individually the entire Team 7, including Kakashi + Chiyo without his Mangekyō. Because Itachi fought alone against both KM Naruto and B.

It's not biased. It's true. If Haku couldn't teleport in his mirrors faster than what Naruto without even his tails could react to (which is also much slower than his footspeed), what makes you think he stands a chance against Itachi who humiliated the jounin of Konohagakure? Kabuto would fair no better than Kakashi, and we all know how Orochimaru got humiliated later on in Part II.

It's as if asking if all of the Gokage and Hokage would stand a chance against SM Hashirama. No, they would not. Itachi is on entirely different level when compared to all of these ninja's who most couldn't even beat genin. Orochimaru currently w/o Edo Tensei still loses to Itachi, let alone the Part I who left Akatsuki solely because of Itachi who was 14.​
