Skills = experience.

50 year old man has more skills than a 20 year old man.. But guess which is considered the prime?

People are smarter out of their prime.....

Tsunade is logically stronger out of her prime.. due to not having a yin seal in her prime.

VOTE Madara is stronger than Edo Madara who i "above his prime".

lmao no you are the one confused. Prime=peak.

you cannot be smarter than your prime. if you pass your peak then where you are is your new prime. you dont seem to understand what prime is because you think you can surpass your prime. just based off of this i can see you dont know what prime is. prime is when you are at the point that you cannot surpass. when you reach your highest limits. there is nothing beyond your prime

prime refers to youre peak of power doesn't matter how long or short. nothing in life is permanent. if I was the strongest man in the world but am now an old man does that mean that mean when I was the strongest it didn't count because I cant do what I used to?

"Peak of your power"

These upgrades aren't their powers, nothing they trained to obtain. They're outside resources they've briefly obtained in order to defeat an opponent. These powers don't define them

However, that isn't my point here.. lol.

The point is a prime is a reference to a large amount of time when you are talking about Someone's prime. You can't have a prime of 30 minutes...

And i'm not confusing myself, i'm simply arguing from the manga point of view of prime, which refers to a long period of time, of where the characters were at their peek abilities.
no you most certainly are confusing yourself youre prime does not have a required amount of time or experience. its your PEAK condition no matter how long or short. madaras prime WAS when he was alive but once he came back he exceeded that and gained a new prime as a jj.

I think the manga is also confused about prime, Eg. They say the legendary sanin where at their prime against Hanzo, yet Orochi didn't have immortality then, Jiraiya didn't have as much mastery on sage mode, and Tsunade, well I can't tell. I think the manga refers to prime as 30-40 years and not when a character is actually at his peak battle ability

Prime - When the character is in their maximum capabilities [Power, speed, reflexes, abilities, battle strategy should be included in those]

Of course in normal human terms their is a specific age [Where they're in their prime] but same cannot be considered in the manga point of view .

Ah only problem is alot of 50 year olds, are smarter than 20-30 year olds.. however, are bad in physical form.

Prime is not "the point that you cannnot surpass". Prime so far has been used for "potential" of the human body. Where human body has the potential for that person to reach the highest state than any other time.

I have never seen someone say "oh he ran his fastest time, hes in his prime" 2 days later "oh he got slower, hes out of his prime".. never seen that happen.

And idk why you think i'm confused when i'm only arguing from the manga prespective that prime is used from..

- Tsunade

- Madara

^^^^ all have referred to a specific age.

edo Madara = Above prime form

Edo Madara = Weaker than Vote Madara

^^^ How can that be? He is in a state above his prime.. yet he is weaker?

Holy hell you're stubborn.

When we use Prime here on the base, we are referring to a character's peak power.

Whether you want to argue definitions is up to you, but this is the reality of it.

you are not arguing from a manga perspective. no where in the manga does it hint that prime means age. look at this definition...

prime means when you are at your best. period. age means nothing. if im 100 and move faster than i ever did in my life, then i am in the prime of my speed. if im 100 and stronger than i ever been in my life, im in the prime of my strength. thats it. nothing more or less. age only refers to human prime. not anime or manga prime

Notice, i simply said there is a confusion... someof you guys came here saying there is a fixed context of prime, that is right. Despite it being used differently in the examples i provided.. ggggggggggggggggggggggggg

Don't be the idiot, who jumps into an argument, without understanding what its about.

Read the thread, its about the confusion between the manga and the fans, and how they use the word "prime".. I have seen many people say Tsunade is in her prime.. despite not being in her prime. Simply because she has the "yin seal" now.

No i'm not stubborn.. i'm defending a point of view, that is opposite from yours.

I gave you examples, which you still have failed to counter, yet you claim, i'm not arguing from a manga point of view? really?

You are ignore someone's examples, and then tell them what they aren't doing? While not realizing, that they are doing that specific thing?

Someone with having with having their strongest ability right now and more experience and skill, is saying they are past their prime..

your examples suck because madara's prime was when he was the juubi's jin. not EMS nor Edo but juubi's jin. you give bad examples because you dont know what prime means

Oh but it does...

Prime of a human has everything to do with an age.. You can gain faster speed/power even after your prime.. and it still won't be considered your prime.

/Thread Reopened.

Only problem, is logically, Tsunade with the Yin seal is stronger than Tsunade in her prime who didn't have the yin seal.

If yin tsunade is stronger than "prime" tsunade, then that would mean "prime tsunade" wasnt really at her prime now wouldn't it? Seeing as how no other form of a person would be able to beat a "prime" form of themselves.

from google "a state or time of greatest strength, vigor, or success in a person's life" that would be tsunade with yin seal

then yin seal tsunade is her prime.

prime has nothing to do with age, and there can be more. if the prime was a specific point, naruto would be on his seventh.

Flawed example. There was a time when she had a young body and the Yin Seal ( ) That was her prime.

OT: I do see your point and i partially agree.
At the end of the day (manga), a character's prime isn't defined by its age, but by the period he was consistently at its strongest.
You invalidated most readers' point of view when in fact its the same as the definition you gave for "manga prime".
