Fukasaku is talking about the sage mode that he knows and has taught:toad sage mode.Rikudo sage mode is a lot more powerful and different.

See the difference between his sage mode back then and the sage mode that he showed when he saved Guy.He doesn't have any markings.

As i said Rikudo sage mode is a lot different than the other sage modes and it doesn't show the markings as we saw with Naruto.

And he still have the BSM symbol in his eyes since he is using Rikudo sage mode.
