It all seems for nothing because Sasuke still has a stick up his ass and another heel turn to make. Once that is settled, maybe the group dynamics will be interesting after the growth, but until then, it's pretty much filler.

I'm enjoying Naruto and Kakashi doing their thing, however.

Every times Sasuke reunites with this pansy cheesy team, its feels as if his fighting spirit takes a 1000-fold hit, and I am tired of Kishi reusing the same old flashbacks like "Oh we were team 7, and we are back together again. I am soo happy!"

Kishi, cut the sunshine and bunnies bullshit, and let Sasuke do his thing.

Never was a fan of this collective unit. I can understand Kakashi having a role because of his ties to Obito and Rikudou through that, but Sakura getting in on the action and extending it all is kind of needless. A line needs to be drawn so we can move forward in the plot and get to the climax.

You know what they say about assuming, shelke. That's not what I'm getting at.

What I'm saying is that closure has to happen with Sasuke's story and it's almost guaranteed gonna be him in Konoha, making right with the village and the K11, this "sunshine and bunnies" business as you say. It's not a good look for him, but that's the growth that will take place because we know this genre of story, we know Shounen Jump, and most importantly, we know Kishi. Thanks to several factors, most recently Kakashi inquiring what Sasuke's goal is, we know there's more to be had which will cause friction in Team 7.

That's why it's all filler, because we know it's not the endgame yet. And whether you like it or not, it is growth. Maybe not the growth you (I'm not a Sasuke fan and even I don't want that) desire, but it's growth indeed as is a shounen staple.

Come on, we are all apt people here. Team 7's reunion automatically implies the same nearly vulgar bonding metaphor this manga is filled to the brim with. I could have gone through this subtly though.

This paragraph is exactly what I keep dreading. This shounen troupes are quite obscene for me to handle.
