Yeah I mean if Itachi could actually survive for that long, which is feasible with Yata. I would say you can't pick a definitive winner, since Itachi will always have a legitimate chance with Totsuka/Yata (and Izanami in this case), but Madara obviously has a better chance of winning.

I've read and watched the anime and manga and I have not seen Itachi do anything outstanding enough to say he's out right stronger than Jiriaya. In fact in part 1, despite having Kisame with him, he still didn't want to fight with Jiriaya and he tried to avoid him.

OT: i think itachi could win cause he has no problem attacking while the enemy is talking and using dirty tricks so madara would probably have just finished smacking itachi around and stopped to gloat and then gets pierced by totsuka
