Yeah but it's not really a great way of doing it, he called someone useless so Kishi suddenly gave them bullshit, asspull powers to prove how wrong he was (even though he really wasn't at the point he said it), this Karma thing isn't doing it for me.

I think its mainly because Kaguya was focused on: Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke no disrespect for Sakura its a pretty big feat but i wouldn't go off to say theres any reason to believe Sakura just not being a huge threat is the reason Kaguya took the blow
