[Spoilers] Is the blind spot well-known?

Okay so in this chapter, Sakura just landed a punch on Kaguya, who was very distracted, but was jumping away from Naruto and Sasuke. Her byakugan was activated. And then Sakura came in from the Byakugan's blind spot.

Okay, Kidoumaru figured this out but it took him a while. That and generally when Kishimoto has his ninja notice a weakness or break down an ability, they do it throughout the fight, generally making observations in their thoughts. (example would be Sasuke's fight with Deidara or how Kakashi tested kamui during fighting unmasked Obito). Sakura is pretty analytical so we can expect this from her, but nothing suggests she realized the byakugan had a weak spot during the fight.

So following that, one can make the guess that she already knew?
It seems a little dumb that the Hyuuga would make any of that public knowledge, even amongst their village. It'd sort of defeat the whole 360 vision thing too. So..how does Sakura know?

Haven't people noticed that Tsunade combat style, thus implicitly, Sakura's is based on multiple Konoha taijutsu styles combined with medical techniques? Chakra scalpel = Jyuuken, Chakra enhancement like Lee and Gai and many, many others...? For this only reason, it should be expected for her to apply such a move...

sort of off topic, but Sakura's intelligence, which is reiterated in-universe by several people, is canon and fact. It's not the on the fly type of smarts that Sasuke shows, or even Shikamaru shows (though he has to remove himself to think), but she's smart. This is her only saving grace in Part 1.

I don't exactly doubt you on this, and I do think Sakura's intellect is of a similar nature to Shikamaru's, but I'm not fully convinced she has able to replicate (all) of Shikamaru's intellectual feats in the manga. Is there any sources to this?

Also not hating on Sakura or anything, she's my fave character but I'm willing to take a step back and critically analyze her.

I think it's possible she could but she hasn't really been given a chance because that is Shiki's schtick. That is what his clan DOES, ya know? If I recall correctly, in Part 1 she was right there with him as far as academics.

she's been.studying for years and she has access to Konoha's secrets as Tsunade's pupil. Plus she.witnessed Neji's injuries against the sound ninjas it's not impossible she has an idea about Byakugan blind spot.
