Sasuke could sense the sage's power in Naruto, so it must be distinct if a non-sensor like him could pick up on it, and Obito's chakra must be similar if not identical to Hagoromo's.

When have Obito shown a sensory feat without being Juubi Jin? When Madara was edo he was a sensory till he came back to life and lost his Rinnegan then got it back when he took hashi sage mode.
