What I think is the funniest part of this thread, is the fact that Blacks are still being controlled. Why the hell can you tell me what I have to think? Why can you say Blacks are making this too much about race and that they don't need to? What the hell else is this about then? Is it about the shoes he was wearing? Is it about the color of his shirt, and the cop simply didn't like it? He didn't like his shorts or jeans and decided to shoot him 8 times for it?

It was about a dude walking down the middle of the street, getting confronted by the cops, and ending up shot 8 times. Why did he get shot 8 times, when the forensics experts say, kid was faced flat on his damn face after the first 6 shots? He was still alive, after those shots, and the medical examiner argues he could have still lived if given immediate help. Nah though. The cop saw the kids shoes, and just went off. He had to pop him in his head 2 more times to finish the kid off. Kid was still resisting arrest with 6 bullets in him, face down on the ground. If only ol' Michael Brown decided to throw on a pair of Adidas instead of his J's that morning, he would be sat up in a hospital facing criminal charges for stealing cigarettes.

This situation obviously had nothing to do with race, and the cop simply didn't like what Michael was wearing is all.

All of you on this thread claiming you are black and that you agree with OP. You are some Uncle Tom ass n*ggas.

When a black person get kill by a cop, the media posted the thugest picture of that black person. When a white person kill people or do the same crime that a black person did, the media posted the most faithfulest picture they can find!

In the past many folks were closet racists. They lived in fear ridicule but then fear/ignorance has always been the root of racism. Nowadays these idiots feel emboldened to voice their nonsense. I honestly can't decide which is better. On the one side I appreciate them announcing their idiocy and bringing it into the open. Knowing where they stand I can deal with them better. On the other side I wasn't expecting the sheer volume.

In this instance, I would say that the the catalyst should be the main focus here. It is highly doubtful that riots would have resulted without that fatal spark. Are some of those rioters idiots, without question, but it's a matter of cause isn't it. Can you argue that there were going to be riots without the dead unarmed teenager that was shot multiple times? No? Then STFU.

I totally agree with you. Even if he was a thief why would you still disregard police orders and continue to follow someone who you really have no business following. What did he think he was going to do? Become a super hero? In the end it only turned out bad and nothing worked out. There was an unnecessary death. Treyvon was not served justice. I'm not so sure about this Mike Brown case on the other hand...

One of life's biggest mysteries... The only thing is that in a lot of cases people should disregard race. People always like to bring race and escalate a matter that doesn't need that attention. In Treyvon's case whether it's a case of race or not, justice was not served.
