You know what your problem is. When I make my statements, you instantly assume that I'm denying that racism towards black people exist.
I'm not doing that, I'm not saying that. What I'm saying is that the best thing to do was already one: To ensure that by law black people are citizens, thus legally equal to the white people.

However, due to corruption, the law can't be applied perfectly. What must be done here is that you, all of you, citizens, fight against corruption (within your government and within your own population), following your rights, of course.

That's not the only problem: Due to racism towards black people being an idea present in most members of society, it won't instantly fade. However, as it is against the law, it's much harder to spread it, let alone practice it. Then, with time, the idea starts to decrease within the population.

That can be seen and proven with numbers. So time can solve this issue. And to why we shouldn't hurry: Because if we keep implanting measures to "compensate" for the past, we'll eventually be commiting the same mistake of the past, that is giving a group more rights than the rest. And that will increase the hatred between the groups, which is negative for life in society.

Heh.. It doesn't always HAVE TO but in such a case, YES IT DOES. In the end RACISM IS A SOCIAL INSTITUTION, and if you don't believe otherwise, then go look in your Law Books that I have to study in my CJ field... The day Jim Crow laws were enacted some of which are still in effect today made racism a true SOCIAL institution where the Dominant Race will always have subtle control and advantages over the minorities. What I still speak is nothing but the truth, and other people on this thread have told you otherwise it's true. Just because YOUR bigotry doesn't involve race, doesn't mean almost most of us black peoples' bigotry doesn't... What it is for us is still BIGOTRY, not racism. Our race doesn't entirely believe that they're better than an entire group to the point there's laws separating & enforcing that fact. Now is there? ... Yes, you're right, prejudice, race bigotry, and racism itself needs to stop.

As I repeat, it's still a social institution that is still in effect.. And us being the minority will almost ALWAYS react negatively to it... So if you want the minorities' bigotry to end, well.. The dominant race has to let go of the CENTURIES OF INTERNALIZED oppression that's been happening.

So if a black person assaults a white person because they're white, it's bigotry, but if a white person assaults a black person because they're black, it's racism?

Ever since The Rodney King case with the LA police the black community been on their shit.

But I agree , us black people find it ok if its black on black well not really OK but we don't take it as far as it does when another race ( especially white since all the past events between us ) but at the same time it seems that black people use that type of situation as a scape goat to make us seem innocent but in reality no one is.

You weren't there, you can't really confirm why they were shot. That's why race should be kept out of it, just put the moron in jail for shooting a kid with no weapon.
