PS3 Controller

Hey guys! I dissembled my PS3 controller as i had to clean it though a small part dropped out. I encircled it. Does anyone know where it needs to be placed?

Whenever i'm playing a game it'll often move on it's own, random button pushes etc. Fixed it by using a small piece of tape and i also cleaned it.

Tried out some games and EVERYTHING works fine, though what'sup with that black piece of plastic?

The plastic piece was probably used as some sort of reinforcement.

Keep it just it case something goes wrong, but everything should work fine.

It looks like a part that would go under the cross thingy but isn't one of these like $40? If it is giving trouble, why not just buy a new one?
