There it is. Its my first amv with vegas and its kinda an experiment. I've put in quite a lotta effects.Please give me your views.
Also Jack Spicer and ChaoticPuppy do suggest some changes...idk why im not satisfied with this one.

Well i got to admit... You have come along way, also good to see quite abit of effects. Hmm... It might be asking too much, but I suggest to not have as much fighting scenes in it, which I can see you have improved on but I think it was a little too much fighting for my taste, but it's no biggy... It's just my opinion after all. I've got to say tho, this is you're best AMV so far, keep it up. xD

I don't think there is really much to say... You seem to know all the basics, so yea... Just keep doing what you're doing, I just watched it again and only see minor faults. But that is only natural, I can really see you're potential starting to shine. xD

But still rough. The end, especially, was really off. Just felt really out of place to me and didn't fit at all. Feel like it ended in an odd way.

The song and the message, seemingly, Naruto still being good, fighting a devil whether it Sasuke or the Fox, and remembering Jiraiya seemed liked too many "themes" for just one video. So, I thought the whole song/theme deal was just a mess. I know it was a general Naruto AMV as in not just one relationship or fight or character, but I think it wouldv'e worked better that way. I say make what you want, but just not something I liked. That is a purely a taste thing and not a criticism. Merely a preference.

You really matched things up more (especially in the first 38 seconds or so) than previously, but some moments were way, way off. The fighting moments with Naruto and Sasuke fighting didn't work for me. Like, the lyrics matched up with what was going on with that situation, but it wasn't as implemented as good as it could've been with better clip choices. Felt really weak. Same for other random fighting scenes.

This is a huge step up, but I feel like you didn't capture "it" yet. You're closer than you were before though.

I have nothing to say regarding the effects. Effects don't make or break a video for me. The ones you used were really nice though. I liked the Jiraiya effect at the end, but it had a big issue. The aspect ratio for those clips were 4:3, not widescreen 16:9, so they really stood our. Also, since you have SV, I really recommend cropping logos and things like

and all that. That's not the most important issue, but it's an issue nonetheless.

Again though, feel really really good about this. You know, maybe I'm crazy and all the videos I consider good and my videos are shit to others, but I do really appreciate you taking advice from me and from ChaoticPuppy. That's very nice of you.

Im still trying to figure out how did the guy pull that off xD Thank you again for the reply and the suggestions, ill try taking better and more relevant clips next time and stick to one theme. If that aspect ratio looks really bad then i have no choice but to stop using the earlier naruto series, as all of it is in 4:3 and all of shippuden is 16:9. Please do let me know if u have any solutions to the aspect ratio problem

The "story" of this amv is -
I tried to portray all the sufferings naruto was going through, and by showing him and sasuke together i showed that they were similar i many ways....when "so many days gone by" comes around its like a time skip, where sasuke has turned evil, while naruto, guided and stopped by minato and his own conscience, remained a good guy.The dance with the "devil" stuff is naruto fighting to change sasuke and get rid of the devil inside him, but when naruto is shown fallen with sasuke still sitting, it portrays that sasuke and his hatred won.In the end when it says "hold on" with naruto's overlay, which jack pointed out was unclear, implied that naruto hasn't lost hope yet.It's kinda like how the anime "monster" ends if u've seen it.Also, the little "glimpse" of itachi in a negative matchup of lyrics was to try and make u question urself that who's the real devil--the one who got manipulated or the one who made him this way?

And for everybody, a request. If u like my amv's please share them. I've seen tons of amvs that really make no sense with hundreds of likes xD. those who make them will know how much effort goes into making them, so please share them.Again, im not forcing u, only share if u really like it.Thanks

I like that you described all of that. That right there is the passion I like. It shows how you're really into this. That's all you need. The rest is just to organize things in a better way and fix some cosmetics. Speaking of cosmetics, there is a fantastic free program called any video converter. Type that in it's the first result. You can crop and fix the resolution issues. Also, you should be able to do that in Sony Vegas. You can also do it in videopad. It's free. Well, you can pay to get more features, but I have the free versions and it has tone of extra features. Both of these are VERY easy, especially any video converter.

Also, there are better places to get better episodes. I can't say them here, but it's a place where pirates hang at. A common formart is MKV. You'll need to convert them to MP4 or AVI or WMV. Use Any Video Converter or Freemake Converter. Both are free and are really helpful.

As for how the won't let go video did so well. Effects were used, but were not the main focus. It was all about scene pacing and matching everything up so well. That's the real important part. That person has mastered how to tell a story. You know how to think of a story and think of a song, but you need work on how to better implement everything to make it as good as you imagine it in your head.

I normally share things if I really like it. I might share yours as you're drastically improving. I mean, wouldn't help much, but I'll look into it as I totally agree about seeing so many AMVS with views and stuff that I just don't understand. I'm happy that person is doing awesome though.

I didn't love that one. It looked really nice and had some cool effects and the song was good, but it didn't wow me. It wasn't some generic amv though. It was good. So, like, above average. Not my taste though, but good. I'd give it a 5/10. As for yours, I'd give it a 4/10. I don't like ratings. There is critical ratings an interest rating. Critically, those are my scores. Taste wise, both get like a 1 or 2. Yours is more tasteful to me as I see sparks of things I gravitate towards in yours. That's just taste though. Maybe I'm not the guy to talk to. Maybe we have different tastes of good or what we like in videos.

I have my shippuden episodes from *** (the pirates place...btw why dont they allow us to mention the sites?) but the earlier naruto series i kinda got from several different places lol xD and i tried any video converter, its great, and yea, im thinking about downloading the naruto series in HD again and then converting,cropping and stuff.thanks for the ratings and all, especially the program
