Tobirama threw a kunai made from steel that cannot be found underground, you have to use certain heat to make it.
Madara has his back as weakness, that is known, Hashirama battle, Zetsu stab.

Because Tobirama didn't teleport yet, the sharingan cannot detect him.
Because the kunai is made from a special, unnatural material, sage mode didn't sense him.
Tobirama spawned, and rinnegan sensed him, Madara has fast reflexes and could counter him.

i edited my post but again. something not canon or shown in the manga cant always be accepted as a correct answer.

i asked two questions, both werent answered by the manga. did tobirama mark his kunai's before he met minato? this wasnt answered in the manga.

how does ftg slash work?
-there was never any kunai shown to be near madara.
-tobirama never marked the place madara is standing on
-tobirama never marked madara(otherwise he wouldve killed him long ago)
-minato never marked madara or the place madara is standing on
- the manga didnt hint at anything being thrown at madara.

kishi never drew tobirama throwing a kunai or hinted at one being thrown (but this couldve been done quietly of panal without zetsu noticing even though he was looking at madara which still makes no sense)

im fine with discussing any possibility but i dont like accepting any "fact" just because someone says it is a fact. and the anime isnt just automatically canon because its in the anime

tobiramas such a badass. only regular person that didn't have to use some life taking jutsu to nearly kill lord madara. if he didn't have hashis senjutsu he woulda been dead

your focus in on the wrong thing... obviously both ftg users can mark anything they can touch...
the focus should have been on how hirashingiri works... it doesn't look loke ftg attack at all... it looks more like shunshin attack as in both case where tobirama used it, he was seen pressing forward.... i.e moving which is not the case with ftg...

yea thats the problem, i didnt seal any seal near madara so im wondering how this attack works. maybe ftg is just a name added int he attack?
