we saw hashirama lose to a blind Madara (granted Hashi was edo, but he was still revived just off from 100%). Then we saw a 1 Rinnegan SM Madz solo the 9 bijuu. Then we saw a 1 rinnegan Juubi Jin Madz solo the better FTG user, [SM] Minato. Aaaaaaand then we saw an 8th Gate Gai violate said last power up version of Madz... You tell me who wins...

In case you're brain dead, Gai wins low diff. There's a reason 8th Gate is in the God Tier and Hashirama is not

EDIT: I hope everyone knows the gulf in power/durability between juubi jins and non juubi jins...

1. Madara could've ended Gai if he had chosen to problem was he chose to stick to close combat.

2. He could've just made a clone himself to deal with Gai

X_X its simply that for that moment gai was good. But if Madara going all out? nah, it would've been waste of gai's death.

So with that said It depends on how the fight goes.
