Because any fire jutsu is going to burn Mokuton to ashes.


Any scans of this? Wouldnt the perfect counter to Hashirama just be a lighter?

I don't think you understand how long it takes for living wood to burn. Hashirama can make wood faster than the wood would burn.

Maybe it burns really, really slow. Who knows but I'd expect that Mokuton must have some trait to make it different than normal wood that I can't think of cause otherwise, Madara and the Uchiha clan of the past might be the dumbest set of characters a manga has ever experienced.

I don't think you understand how long it takes for living wood to burn. Hashirama can make wood faster than the wood would burn.

Not very long, a fire pit will last 30 minutes max, but constant abuse from fire jutsu that i'm guessing is a lot hotter than normal fire, would burn right through wood
