But Sasuke fapboys may be to naive to say this or even to realize it but what if Sasuke's eye/s-t techique can also do it? He will however need the chakra to do so.

It didnt fail, it would have failed if it didnt work, but it did work it was just Sasuke who need to enter that "rip".

Anyone who runs out of chakra dies in naruto. My point is that obito at the time was not at 100%. That much was clear from what the recent chapters featuring obito have shown. It is unknown whether he would be able to pull it off on his own or not if he was at 100%
