The Byakugan is the Dojutsu unique to the Hyuga Clan, one of the noble families of Konoha, as well as one of the 3 great Dojutsu, along with the Sharingan and Rinnegan. This eye appears as a completely white eye while its abilities are not in use. However, when activated, veins and other signs of visible strain appear to build around the eye. When activated, the user is granted a huge increase in their perception of sight. But, the most deadly aspect is that it grants an almost perfect 360 vision, with the exception of the blind spot at the back of the neck. While the Dojutsu is active, it also lets the user better utilise their Hyuga techniques, such as the 8 Trigrams 64 Palms, since the Dojutsu is capable of seeing the chakra network and tenketsu within the human body. However, while it does have its increased sight perception, it is still vulnerable to counter. As seen in Naruto, the Byakugan's sight augmentation was shown to be countered by powerful mist techniques.
Some notable users are Neji, Hinata, Ao, Hiashi and Kaguya.
Ah, thank you for that sensei ^^
Understood. Let's start.
So, we need to unlock your Byakugan first, is that correct?
Then, let's begin!
Make the following hand seals:
Horse, Tiger with lifting just index fingers, Boar with nearly straightened fingers, Hare, Rat, Dog, Horse, Dog, Hare, Rat, Boar with nearly straightened fingers, and Snake with the right index finger lifted straight up.
Then, I want you to focus your chakra into your eyes, to the point where you feel the veins around your eyes to bulge to a great extent, and tell me what you see.
Yes. Lets start!
Following my teacher's instructions, I create the horse seal, followed by the tiger hand seal with only my index fingers, the boar seal, the hare, rat, dog, horse, dog, hare, rat, boar and snake hand seal, with my right index finger lifted up on the snake seal. I then focus my chakra into my eyes. When the amount of chakra in my eyes exceeds a certain point, the veins around my eyes bulge and become very visible. I then look around and analyse my surroundings.
I can see...my chakra network and yours. I can also see the tenketsu within our bodies. I can see the chakra flowing throughout our networks as well.
Oh? Is that all you see? Stop focusing on the small details for a little bit. Try and see the 'whole picture', per se. What do you see now?
No, it isn't everything...I can see further. I can see so far ahead. I can see everywhere around me...except for one spot.
Ah, yes, that's more like it. Now, why don't you tell me what happens when you focus your vision onto my chakra system? Try and deliberately pin-point my pressure points, and count them. How many do you see?
I use my Byakugan to focus my vision even further, and look at your chakra network closely, seeing small pressure points. I then do a quick but accurate counting of them.
There are a total of 361 pressure points. Called tenketsu, if memory serves me well.
The Gentle Fist is a style of Taijutsu mainly practiced by members of the Hyuuga clan, mainly because only the Hyuuga can utilise the style effectively with their Byakugan. Not all users with Byakugan can practice Gentle Fist (within this RP, and to my knowledge). Gentle Fist is a style that exploits the advantages the Byakugan provides...being able to see the Tenketsu pressure points and chakra pathways within the body of the opponent. Using this style, the practitioner can either boost or completely halt the circulation of chakra around the body, rendering the opponent unable to use chakra in any way, this attack is known as the Eight Trigrams 64 Palms. However, not all Gentle Fist techniques are for offense. There is one technique known as the Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven, and this involves the practitioner streaming their chakra from the Tenketsu in their body and rotating on the spot, creating a small dome of chakra surrounding them that will block projectile weaponry.
I initially walk slowly towards the training dummy, then put on a quick burst of speed and run at him. Once he is within arm's reach I chop at his neck with the side of my hand. I then follow up by forming a fist with my left hand and punching the training dummy in the gut.
As soon as the dummy springs towards me, threatening to kick me in the chest, I fling my head and chest back. This would bring my entire body down with me. Just before my head hits the ground, I put my hands where my my head is, with my palms facing the ground. I then kick my body back up and land on my feet. Listening to my sensei mention using the Byakugan, I immediately focus chakra into my eyes until I feel the veins around my eyes bulge. With that, my Byakugan is activated. Looking at the opponent, I look for a pressure point I can exploit. I decide upon the point that lies just below the ear at the jaw. Running quickly towards the opponent, I bring my left arm up and clap my hand against it, to support it and stop the opponent from getting away. I then bring my right arm up and, using my middle and index fingers, apply pressure inwards and upwards. This would cause immense pain in the jaw. I then use the second middle finger knuckle of my right hand to punch the place I am applying pressure, dislocating the jaw of the dummy.
--------
For the movement I used to dodge the kick, its in the 1st spoiler. The pressure point I exploited is in the 2nd spoiler.

I reel back from the blow, the attack having caught me in the face. I listen to my sensei as he talks further about what I could do.
When you speak of being able to see through solid objects, what would that allow me to do in combat? I've tried thinking about advantages of having that ability, and the only one I can think of is being able to see the skeletal system of the opponent. I just tried exploiting that, and I do not see what else I could do.
