Sasuke beat what looked like a thousand Sound ninja fodders without even killing them (which takes added effort), and Sasuke hardly broke a sweat and seemingly did not use CS1 or CS2. Kimimaro is better than Sasuke in everything pertaining to CQC; he takes this with ease. Frag grenades are tanked with bones, or at worst, regenerated from.

Kimimaro was never owned by Part I Lee. He was outmaneuvered by drunken Lee, who with all intents and purposes, has among the most unpredictable fighting styles even by Part II standards.

Kimimaro shares Hebi Sasuke's speed tier, is 1.5 tiers above Sasuke in Taijutsu, has a body with nigh unbreachable durability, and can regenerate from almost anything. Hebi Sasuke is inferior to him in everything pertaining to CQC. Furthermore, he had just unplugged himself from life support; a healthy Kimimaro would naturally be even better.
