Here are somethings people assume about sasuke's s/t but are incorrect about:

1. Sasuke s/t is short range- well not many people think this but some do and this doesnt make sense because almost all the time sasuke used his s/t, it was either mid ranged or far ranged, so just because it's limited(like all techs aside from ftg, kamui, and summoning) doesnt mean its distance has to be small

2.Sasuke s/t isnt instant- even though i agree that sasuke hasnt called it instant yet, if you look at how he defined it, it has to be instant. Space is something that is all around us and it's impossible to remove space from a place, if sasuke's eye's shift(or swap) space, it has to be instant if not what would be occupying the space he shifted?

3.Sasuke cooldown means he's s/t is useless- few people seem to forget that sasuke's s/t cooldown isnt long and we cant tell how long he can use it before the cooldown, so I think we should wait for more explaination before we jump to conclusion on his s/t cooldown time

Do you agree or disagree? if you disagree, please i'll like it if you give your reason why
You can be a hater or a fanboy as long as you use logic while being either
You can also add more information if you please

thanks

1. It is short range when he's just teleporting himself. The range is extended if he focus on something to replace himself with.
2. The travel is instant, using the jutsu isn't. Sasuke has to focus on where he goes first and then performs the jutsu.
3. Calling Sasuke's jutsu useless would be moronic, but by comparison to Kamui and FTG, it kind of is because the cool down is a massive hamstring.

I agree with pretty much everything you said specifically the short range misconception. I mean seriously how did that even become a misconception there is literally no proof whatsoever that it is short range and we don't exactly have a very good look on the distance between things on the battlefield at the moment. I'm not saying it has an incredibly long range and it's most definitely not better than ftg or kamui in terms of range but that doesn't mean his rinnegan range is short either.

1. Look at this:
the gap between him and naruto doesnt look small to me

2.I agree, but some people think both isnt instant, and isnt the jutsu a travelling jutsu?

3.True, but all have their ups and downs

It's garbage.

I know you are more mature than this

1. It's shown to be short range when just teleporting himself from one place to another. It's actually still a short range when he swaps.
When Obito's portal was open, he had to get close to the portal before being able to swap. Technically, moving to another dimension is long range, but he has to get within short distance of that range. All the times he's used it has also been short range. That's not particularly long compared to other S/T Jutsu, so judging by regular S/T, it's short.

2. Yes, it's instant. The only problem is it relies on his eyesight. If he had a blindfold on, he's unable to use it.

3. It's not useless, it's simply inferior in specific ways compared to others, but then again, others are inferior in other ways to his Jutsu.

I disagree about the range, sasuke had to get so close to swap places with sakura jacket
Yes the teleportation is instant
And bout the cool down ,we don't know if it has cool down after every single usage or after some times of using ,also the cool down time isnt short it can be more than one or two mins

1. It's not short ranged, look at this scan : and he didnt swap

2. His eyes can see through solid objects and a bandage is no exception

3. Agreed

I've already provide a scan of sasuke using his s/t from a distance
Alright
We know he usd it almost immediately after he used it on madara but it took some time after he used it to go to obito and sakura location so it may be kishi's writing inconsistence so none of us can say who is right

1. I would say people consider Sasuke's S/T jutsu as short range because compared to Kamui and FTG it is.

2. All S/T jutsu is instant

3. The cooldown is a massive problem in my eyes. But it also makes me think that it must have more power. There is no way something that simple has a cooldown

Sasuke's teleportation is mid ranged. And is only long ranged when he substitutes with something.

I agree his teleportation is instant

I agree with this as well. Sasuke's S/T technique is far from useless. However the cool down time does reduce its reliability a great deal.

1. It is limited ranged whatever the distance Madara was at, seemed like his S/T technique's limit.
2. I believe it's instant, Sasuke S/T technique has done things similar to Minato/Tobirama's FTG. The jutsu has warped Sasuke/whoever to him relatively instantly, however his striking speed isn't. Same can be said with Minato/Tobirama's FTG.
3. Cool down is a problem, however the time limit of it hasn't been determined-I believe.

1-the gab wasn't so big ,it was nearly 20m ,
some people think its range is 100m but I think that isn't true since he had to get close to swap places with sakura's jacket (this situation(swapping with sakura's jacket ) is the best one to show us its range's limit because sasuke in this situation couldn't perform his jutsu one meter further

Alright, you're probably right

1. Yes, but it might also have been his s/t was in cooldown mode
2. Agreed
3. I agree it's a problem, but not a huge problem, it's only a problem against speedsters

he said it was because it was a different dimension

If only he had a Byakugan too lol.

1. That looks about 50 feet distance. Of course, a manga is never quite clear or good proof, but I'd say the teleportation is within a modest distance.
2. Well those people would be wrong so let them be wrong. When Sasuke "moves" he moves instantly. What comes before and after that, i.e. focusing on his destination and attacking on arrival, aren't instant though, but given Sasuke's speed, they might as well be for weaklings.
3. True, except for maybe FTG. That really doesn't seem to have much of a downside if at all.

Its cool but it is rather useless against every character that is on and above sasukes level. That's is why people talk down on it. Naruto Madara and kaguya could all render sasukes shift jutsu useless and I'll tell you why. Two things..understanding the jutsu and having the reaction time to evade the attack after the swap. All the characters I listened have that.

Now people like to say that sasuke was owning Madara why did I list him. Madara was used as a tool to show off sasukes new jutsu. It means nothing if the strikes on Madara were ineffective. None of them critical blows and once Madara started to realize how sasuke jutsu works he started countering it accordingly starting with switching with his limbo clone a underrated speed feat then getting out of range.

Then you throw in the cool down time. Now he has to spam susanoo until it's ready again. Naruto and kaguyas sensing abilities are on a totally different level. Naruto immediately sensed sasuke when he swapped with his sword and in the recent chapter kaguya sensed him and got the hell out the way.

All in all the jutsu is good. He destroys every shinobi below god tier with it(he destroys most without it) but against current enemies it's useless.

here's another misconception:

"naruto can dodge sasuke's s/t HURR DURR"

when he actually gets wrecked just saying
