I like Sakura, but...

No, I understand the definition but I don't see it that way, Sakura was not just cold to Naruto, he was not good enough, it wasn't until he was a big shot that she started showing him more respect. Maybe Kishi was going for a character that was cold at first and then warmed up but for me, he failed. But that is only my opinion, which isn't worth very much LOL

I just find Sakura to be a selfish, shallow and vein character which I'm not sure is what Kishi was going for, I think he was trying to make her confident, independent and authoritative, he failed in my eyes.

But we all have characters we do and do not like, if we didn't we couldn't argue about it and where would the fun be in that LOL

Seriously though, Sakura has one thing going for her, she is less annoying than both Chi Chi and Shampoo, but only just

It's just the way I see her character, I feel like she felt Naruto wasn't good enough until he proved himself to her standards, before that, she just thought he was a loser and treated him badly.

But it is just the way I see it. Honestly I don't like any of the female characters in Naruto, not one. Kishi said he is bad at creating female characters and he was right LOL

I have always like Naruto, I don't like seeing him treated badly, so maybe I'm just biased.

But it is only my own opinion, everyone seeing the story and characters differently is what makes it interesting ^^

I don't completely dislike Sakura, I thought she was really good in the Gaara arc, saving Kankuro and fighting Sasori, I just think Kishi has a bad habit of creating very shallow female characters so he has these characters that are half good but then have these irritating personality quirks, which is a shame.

But I would rather watch an entire arc of Sakura that five minutes of Shampoo and Chi Chi T.T
