He wouldn´t even beat 1 eyed rinnegan madara 1on1 , two rinnegan madara is overkill.

Madara is underrated since he was backstabed by black zetsu, even one eyed rinnegan madara handled sasuke and naruto at the same time after he had a brutal fight with Guy.

And he was hunting for his second rinnegan.
While he was fighting naruto and sasuke he thought about a way to get to his second rinnegan and wasn't full concentrated, he let cut himself apart from sasuke because he had what he was looking the hole time for : the key to get to his rinnegan, kakashis eye.
All other things didn't matter to him, not even being cut in half !

Why do you think he wanted to get his rinnegan? Because he would have been owned without it. Yea he let himself get cut but it's not like he could have done anything about it anyway...He wasn't fast enough to react.
