Should Kishi have killed off Gai and Kakashi

IMO, Gai was suppose to die. He had a great story building up to the climax and his slaughter against Madara was awesome. The parallel between Gai and his father was also touching.


In Kakashi's case, it would have been better if Kishi killed him off. I know he is a fan favorite but popularity does not equal good story. Instead of giving dat asspull powerup to Kakashi, it would have been more logical and more cohesive to have Obito unlock his full potential due to Kakashi's death and then sacrifice himself in order for Naruto and Sasuke to seal Kaguya and have Team Minato reunite in the afterlife.



Like that, the new generation can now surpass the old generation

What pisses me off is kishi literally rips jarayias arms off and shoves him in the deepest part of the ocean to rot with the fishes but he doesn't have the balls to kill off Gia and kakashi because their ....dare I say it, can favorites? Yes, its a fking war...Kishi needs to do what HxH is doing...kill off some meaningful people so it can feel like a war. Instead of a Power Up Fest. Like wtf? Wouldn't mind if you put Narudo under genjutsu or even kill him off...give more characters a chance to die and or get some shine. Sasuke too, but after he tries to avenge Narudo and get some meaningful hits...and stop nerfing him every chapter for the sake of balance vs the main character. Give lee, gai, sai, somebody a chance to do something epic.
