FAIRY TAIL. (No no..don't leave. Please read even if it's just a little)
Listed above are some of the quotes from different members on the base in different FT threads that I have seen over the course of 3 weeks. I watch the anime only atm and it's kinda sad when I see reviews like this because I actually think Fairy tail actually has interesting plots sometimes Lol.
Also from the quotes above, I actually believe some of the people fuelling the growing hate of FT are bandwagoners. I say this because I was once in the Sakura hate bandwagon (Not that I'm saying she isn't useless, she is. But not all the time) and i have an idea how bandwagoning works.
Reasons you can watch FT and like it.
The video is roughly 2 mins long and is from one of my favourite arcs in FT and apart from the very catchy opening song, i'm focusing on the clip from 1:00 to 1:02. In that scene, we have 3 main characters who were beat up so bad by the villain that I questioned if they were main characters.
The point is FT has some very awesome fights and In one arc, they actually lost a battle (against acnologia)
It also has many cute moments such as;

and let's not forget many and i mean enough funny moments such as the one in my sig.
About the fanservice, you might not believe (cos If I were in your shoes I won't believe me either) but it was only when I activated my account for forums last year and saw the description of the fairy tail section on the base that I began to notice the fan service. it had me like
So basically, if you don't watch FT because the majority of people hate it, i recommend you pick it up and watch..same goes for if you stopped halfway. I know It has some boring arcs but if you push on, its highly probable that you'll end up loving It. Lol

But really, I think the fanservice is overrated on here. The fourth guy in the quote above claims he can't watch an ecchi manga but few days before that post, he recommended for someone to watch high school of the dead :erm: and besides, ecchi isn't even in the genre for FT.
