[Question] 2 Questions about the Espada

There's 2 I'm always wondering about the espada. So here are my two questions :

1) Does ulquiorra's second transformation make him actually the strongest espada? He was the only one that could do it and nobody knew about it. He said so himself.

2) Do the espada run from 1-10 or 0-9? Yammy made me confused about this. Is he really the strongest espada?

1. Ulquiorra never impess me to the level that I would put him on the level of strongerst espada. On top of that he himself said that there are 3 espadas stronger than him. Also, Yammy himself said that he is stronger than Ulquiorra, which Ichigo acknowledge....
My strongest espada would be: Starrk > Barragan > Yammy > Ulq. tho, I could very easy say that Yammy could be the strongest.

2. Espada goest from 0-9.

2. The Espada run from 0-9. Yammy, to me, is one of the weaker Espada. Yammy, in Resurreccion took a cut from Ichigo in Bankai while Hollowfied, but was at less than half strength. Ulquiorra, while in first Resurreccion, was able to completely nullify the Getsuga Tensho from a Hollowfied Ichigo in Bankai at almost full strength. That should make it clear that Yammy is far from the strongest, and that his words are false statements.

Ichigo got strength from his fights. Just like Saiyans in Dragon Ball. Every time he fights he got more strength and every time he has near dead situation he got stronger, that is evident.
1. When he entered SS, he was just Vice Captain level.
2. Than he has nearly dead situation against Renji.
3. In the next fight he had, Zaraki stated that he is stronger than Vice Captain, but he was not yet on captain level, which can be seen that he was beaten relative easy by Patched Zaraki.
4. After his battle with Zaraki, his strength against grow, to the level that Ukitake said that his reiatsu is on captain level in shikai.

I'm not really sure did Ichigo was Average captain level when he entered Huecom Mundo. In his first fight he beat Dordoni, but in his next battle he was fodderized by Base Ulq. Than he fights equally with Grimmjow, in the end he beat him barely and that two fight should give Ichigo's more strength.
And he actually got more strength, that can be seen in his battle with Ressurection Ulquiorra, whe he could fight back, even thought earlier he couldn't even fight back with Base Ulquiorra.

In fight with Ulquiorra he had worst situation, and he was once again 'near dead' which should boost his power even greater, also Aizen stated that this form of Ichigo was already transcedent later in FKT, which probably can be back up with the reason that Ichigo's mask changed.

He at the beginning of SS arc started as Vice Captain level, but without any training ended as Captain level in shikai.
At the beginning of HM arc he was not even average captain level, but by the end of HM arc, Unohana stated that his reiatsu is two times bigger that that of captain.

So, Getsuga Tensho Ichigo fired at Yammy, was more powerful than any other Getsga he used prior to that time.

While I agree with everything in this post, the one he fired at Yammy was still not the strongest one he could've fired, considering the fact that he was not at even half-strength. While I agree with everything in this post, the one he fired at Yammy was still not the strongest one he could've fired, considering the fact that he was not at even half-strength. This is just speculation, but I'm willing to bet that at full-strength, Bankai and Hollowfied Ichigo firing that Getsuga would've decapitated Yammy.

He was in a much better state to fight, because Ichigo had just come out of a huge battle that had him on the brink of death, had it not been for White's interference.

Ulquiorra is not the strongest Espada, even with his second transformation. Not by a long shot; but he's definitely at or stronger than Halibel at that stage. And we can never really determine whether Ulquiorra's statement is 100% ironclad. Whose word do we allow to take precedence: Aizen's, where he said everything was planned for Ichigo, or Ulquiorra's, where he counters by stating that Aizen didn't know about the second transformation? That's a point of contention that can't be resolved with the current material, so we just have to take it for what it is.

Espadas ran from 0-10. Yammy was 10 unreleased, but 0 released. Simple as that.

I'm not really sure what you think when you say he was in a much better state to fight?

I refer to Yammy's next form, he used against Byakuya and Zaraki..

When they said Yammy was the strongest I think they just meant by physical strength. His other feats aren't so good unless Im mistaken
