..orochi upgraded the tech and kabuto mastered it....thats why tobirama couldnt break free...but hashi could and hashi would get the rest of them out

Same rules still apply since madara was able to do it right off the bat with no interaction with Orochi or Kabuto or their information

well we don't know if he could as only hashirama was said to be not restrain-able due to powerful chakra while tobirama was kinda suppressed but we don't know if oro could have made him fight, he still had his brain i.e was thinking and was struggling as well, not like oro controlled him completely, hiruzen was kinda scared so i think he can be controlled and minato didn't kinda give a damn so again a mystery, i.e may be contract seal can release him etc so not enough info to say anything...

Kabuto can feel the movements of his summons as seen with Hanzo. Madara was only able to cast the release when Kabuto was caught in a Genjutsu. This is why he didn't release the summon later and why Tobirama didn't simply release himself from Orochimaru's control.

Another thing is Orochimaru's Edo Tensei is stronger since he has Senju cells.
