[Theory] Itachi's solo weapons : Totsuka blade and Yata mirror

Itachi is based off of Japanese mythology. Well all the Uchihas are but Itachi was the main imo. He displayed Susanoo first and showed knowledge of all the MS jutsus besides the ones that are only on certain eyes. On top of that he carried the Sword and Shield. I dont think they are from the Uzumaki. Kishi had them exclusively for itachi. Even sasuke didnt inherit them.

Well then.

No its not unique to susano. Why would Orochimaru be searching for it if it was? Itachi just chose to use it that way to have a even stronger defense and offense.

It depend on the user/wielder itself

If the wielder is massive like susanoo, The weapons' will fix to the susanoo size and vice versa

why wouldn't Totsuka work on a jin?

Because Jin are medium for Tailed beasts.

Tailed beasts are eternal forms of chakra so they can not be sealed for enternity as Totsuka blade can do.

Haha, na. He probably studied or been to the Uzumaki village but i dont think thats how he got them. The weapons are Ethereal.

It probably changes size. Itachi didnt get it from activating Susanoo. He found them probably during a mission with Orochimaru or something that involves oro.

I also thought about this too. I was hoping that Itachi would pass the sword and shield to Naruto or Sasuke so that we get to see them used in human form. But then again sasuke has susano and naruto would porbably use it in Kyubbi Mode. Not only that Madara would have gotten one shotted.

Yeah they were partners for a bit. Orochimaru probably thought Itachi wanted to destroy the Leaf too so he revealed some stuff to Itachi. When Itachi learned how powerful the sword and shield was, he took it for himself so that Orochimaru couldnt use it for destroying the leaf. If he had it naruto would have ended during the Chunin exams.
