Hiruzen Being Unsurpassed

In episode 284 Danzo stated that Hiruzen was unparralled in regards to being the best at using Ninjutsu.

Looking back at it I think this may be true. Hiruzen is the best shinobi we have seen at using (and staying true to) ninjutsu. He is the only shinobi who still uses hand seals (other than tobirama, the alliance, and minato). He knows just by looking at handseals what jutsu his opponents are going to use and can immediately counter it or replicate it. And he can use any element with his ninjutsu.

Who in the manga could surpass hiruzen in ninjutsu or is he truely the best ninjutsu user we have seen in the manga.

I would like to note that KKG's DONT count as standard ninjutsu and that is what I am refering to.

I think it's weird that for such a great ninjutsu ninja out of his prime he still mostly uses the monkey staff. I mean, if he is still so physically strong that he prefers the staff over normal ninjutsu he should still be in his prime right?

Hiruzen has shown not only more versitile Ninjutsu, but he has also shown more elements. Most of kakashi's jutsu are redundant

All that ninjutsu couldn't defeat Kyuubi.

This has nothing to do with his battle against the kyuubi. We are talking about who surpasses his ninjutsu usage

Handseals are still used,it's just that the characters who are fighting primarily don't use them when fighting.

Kaguya is Kaguya she deosn't need to do it.Naruto has Rasengans which don't require handseals and Shadow clones which only use one.Sasuke usually uses dojutsu.But uses handseals for fire style attacks.

Even Madara's Susano'o uses HandSeals.
