Could some of the Rikudou no Jutsu counter the Shinigami?

I don't know, it must have been made for EXTREMELY dire circumstances knowing all the other high leveled
Sealing Jutsu they had. I guess it was in the purpose of defeating those as unearthly as the Tailed Beasts, Or Orochimaru.

I guess, but if the entity runs on chakra of some sort as well it would be safe to assume it would work on some level.

Yes, that would apparently work nowadays. :| But, not everyone has hax eyes that survive a bolder on them.

For example, could the Gakidō (Preta Path) "absorb" it? Or could the Ningendō (Human Path) "kill it" by absorbing or pulling it's soul? Just random thoughts..
