sorry if anyone has already posted something like this but this is what i just thought of yesterday...

what if everything that happened in the whole "naruto" is jiraiya's novel?
what if the ending scene ends where jiraiya puts his pen down and finishes it...or
ends where 12 yr old naruto is reading it (pictures himself through the story)...or
ends where naruto's kid is reading it (if he ever gets one)

have you ever thought of it that way???
that would be the biggest troll ever!
