What he said is true. Obito's power is needed in this fight against Kaguya. Kakashi has nothing believable enough to take on Kaguya. Also let me remind you even before he got the Sharingan he was still being well known as a awesome ninja. This Sharingan was a gift he earned by Obito for gaining a status as a Jonin. So would he be better off without the sharingan is still debatable.

kakashi's kamui didn't help him killing deidara
kakashi's kamui didn't help him against madara when he B1tch slapped him and took the sharingan from him

now we all know since kakashi is not an original Uchiha
