Well what if that's not the only reason? What if Sasuke has some bigger plans? Like to take Kaguya's powers and use it as his own in order to take over the world. It is the most hyped up fight, there is bound to be some serious story behind it. Right now the story has moved away from Sasuke and moved on to some other important matters. I am sure he still has some darkness inside.

Yes, these are just crushes and in the end I really doubt if anyone is ending up with anyone but they still part of the manga , but some reason people act like it's not
