[Question] Ging Freecs *ANIME ONLY* *No MANGA SPOILERS*

So last night I just caught up with the anime and finally had Ging in some episodes. And I have to say I dont really like hia character because he is pretty much a lazy guy who abandoned his newborn son just to adventure around the world.

So is there anybody else who dislikes Ging comment below how you feel about Ging
And please no Manga Spoilers this is an anime only discussion

I like him.He must of had his reasons for leaving Gon.He's also a powerful well respected genuis.He's done alot of good things as a hunter.The only downside to him would be leaving Gon.

Same with the other hunters and Zodiacs, , u would think if a half of million people are dropping like flies the hunters (kinda like world police) would give all effort to stop it , this kinda irks me tbh , seems so unrealistic

Netero was the in charge and he was also Captain of the operation. The zodiacs and other hunters didn't help because the chairman didn't call them, simple as that. Also, you must remember that Netero said that they needed a small force that can operate inconspiciously. There are many reasons stated for this, one, a large number of hunters means more food for the ants, more food for the ants means stronger ants. Another reason ofcourse was because as you saw they wanted to use Goriila/Espionage tactics so they really did need a small number of people. Even having said that, you must remember that the Pariston was in charge of the mission allocation committee and he intentionally ignored Morel and Knov's hunter requests and sent weak and unskilled hunters to deal with the squad captains, seemingly with the intention to sabotage Netero. There was nothing unrealistic about what happened, I think you just didn't pay enough attention to the details.

Well Ging has a lot of faith towards Gon and you'll start liking him a lot more at the next arc. Btw, never make an anime only thread here, people love to spoil. Although kaaaant never spoiled anything he was just trolling.

In the real world, yeah he'd just be absolute scum. But it's a tad bit different in the world of Hunter x Hunter.

It's not unrealistic it's just that he knew it was suicide mission and he needed some group to carry on his will and support Hunter association
