He¥, so i was camping in the woods with my friends last night and their was alcohol around. One of my friends had too much to drink and so he fell asleep in a tent.

About an hour later the cops showed up and saw all the booze. My friend was still drunk by the time they tested us for intoxication. He and his friend were arrested.

Idk if anyone here has had any experience with this kind of thing, but some advice would be great. He is 17 and has never had any previous run in's with the law. What's going to happen to him now now?(they gave him a court date)

I guess the question the judge will most likely ask how did he get a hold of the alcohol in the first place because he is under age and tell him to plug his buthole

Just talk to the city appointed prosecutor... they will prob be just held in jail for the night till sober and parents contacted to pick up.

but dont worry all your problems will be solved with money and prob no jail time... but deff probation

No, they are just gonna send him to some work camp and make him mine rocks while big scary guys will watch over him with sticks. Oh wait, this isn't WW2. You should have liked did some crazy shit with him asleep.
OT: I dunno, their just gonna call his parents and they will have to pay a fine or some shit.

Do you think there will be a probation? He didn't bring the alcohol to the camp or have any on him when they arrested him(he was asleep), what should he tell the judge when they ask where he got it?(he's not going to rat on anyone)
