I'm re-watching episode 361 and Hiruzen was all like, "women can make a man try harder out of desire for their acknowledgement."

This got me wondering whether Sakura was ever a factor in Naruto's development.

I know Sasuke was for sure, but can anyone think of a time when Sakura was?

I know about the 'promise of a lifetime' but it was clear from day one that Naruto Sakura and that promise had ZERO to do with Naruto chasing Sasuke. That's just drama Kishi added to the mix bc drama sells.

Sakura's advice helped Both Naruto and Sasuke.Once Sakura gave Naruto advice Sasuke noticed that Naruto improved which made him ask Naruto what Sakura told him.
