when kabuto does edo tensei he summons the spirit energy and it combines with the physical energy from the dna, and it forms a person's chakra
you use a living vessel for the chakra to possess, and they have all their previous powers and kekke genkais
like obito
his spiritual energy came back from pure world and combined with his physical energy coming from his cells/dna
and he was a mass of chakra

my theory is that chakra connects both worlds because body energy is from the "impure world"and that spirit energy is from the "pure world"and you need both to make chakra
people from the "impure world" get spirit energy from "pure world" and combine it with body energy to make chakra
and people from the "pure world" gather body energy from the "impure world" to make chakra

Yes, the concept is Yin-Yang. It applies to anything. Mind and Body. In Edo Tensei, the Mind posses the sacrificial body. The sacrificial body acts as a medium to contain the mind. The DNA is just a way to calling the spirit forth to the world of the living.

Rin and obito are nothing but souls and spiritual energy in the pure world but they still look human even though obito looks younger
Obito got his physical energy from his cells when he was nothing but spiritual energy in the pure world made chakra and did Kamui which made his chakra come from his cells

I made a thread that has relation to this and it goes like.. "In reality, if a spirit is connected to you from the spirit world to earth then it can meet you, communicate with you and could potentially possess you because you are connected to it. If there is a link between both spirit and human then you and the spirit can communicate or meet each other." Obito clearly says "Our chakras have the power to connect both words" which means that they're both connected due to their chakra. since they're connected that means that obito can communicate, meet or possess him (which is what he clearly does and thats how kakashi gets the double kamui) because they're connected to each other. Kakashi gets double kamui (mangekyou) because obito's energy or chakra is in him.

i think a detailed explanation of how chakra is created is that spirit energy comes form pure world and body energy comes from the cells/dna from impure world and you combine both for chakra
but sage chakra is spirit energy from pure world,body energy from cells/dna,and then nature energy from nature you combine it to make sage chakra

some of that was poorly explained, but you are right, let me reiterate for all the dummies out there. XD

i agree about chakra being body and spirit energy.
chakra is what makes this manga special.
not everyone has it, remember that, there are normal people here too. people unprepossessing of "chakra"
only some people are ninjas that can manifest chakra. and others are limited in what they can do.
there are people like Rock lee who create chakra and use it to physically empower themselves, but cannot mold it into a jutsu.
there are others like Karen, who are able to heal others by allowing them to "swallow/absorb" her chakra that she molds.
there are even some people like the uchiha/hyuga who physically change their eyes appearance with the application of chakra.
dont even get me started on orochimaru, hes like the nazi scientists.

any way....kaguya started it by stealing chakra from the tree (juubi).
hagoromo and his brother were the first ones ever BORN with it.
they were incredibly powerful and kaguya didnt like that.
she wanted the power all to herself, and tried to kill her children to take it back.
they defended themselves and sealed her and the juubi with her inside hagoromo.
he dispersed the chakra to his children and to the bijuu that he created from that power and then physically died, yet remained spiritually in the impure world so that he could keep a watch over the events.
the black zetsu (kaguyas spiritual chakra manifested physically) had to bring hagoromos power back in both forms (spiritually and physically, senju/uchiha transmigrants combined)
which is what madara did combining himself with hashirama, because hes an idiot, and then kaguya was able to free herself and the juubi from Madara once he acitvated the moons eye plan.
thus reincarnating herself in an attempt to reclaim all the chakra in the world yet again.

i agree about the basic premise of the edo tensei as kabuto explains it.
it grabs someones soul from the pure world and ties it to a body in the impure world.
im not sure this is as simple as its been explained though.
weve seen some pretty crazy stuff from kishimoto
demons, limbos, afterlife, reanimation, reincarnation, chakra, etc.
with the explanation of multiple "worlds" such as the pure and impure...we are forced to wonder
what world did kaguya come from?? why does she want to create an army? who does she intend to fight with that army?
who created the juubi/tree? why does it exist? are there other places like this in the narutoverse?

i agree about obito transferring his chakra to kakashi.
that is what creates the sharingan activation in kakashi.
i do believe that it could stretch on indefinitely though.
obito said that it "MAY BE temporary" almost as if there was a doubt.
i think its important to remember the way that the sharingan is activated originally in an uchiha.
and how different each activation can be, what it represents, how it manifests, etc.
both sasuke and obito both developed sharingan during a battle when fighting for their lives and the lives of their friends
tobirama explains that special charkra is created (spiritual and physical) and emitted by the brain to the optical nerves.
the nerves send out energy that transforms the eyes PHYSICALLY into something else.
the best way to understand that is by understanding that Obito turned his eyes into sharingans physically
and when one of them was given to kakashi in kakashi gaiden story, it stayed a sharingan.
it didnt need constant special uchiha chakra to continue to become activated or be used by kakashi (with no uchiha chakra).
it had already been created within obito and was transferred intact to kakashi.

so given that premise of the eye being manifested during a chakra burst from the brain that permanently alters the eyes...
that would stand to reason that if kakashis REAL eyes were altered by an obito uchiha love chakra burst through kakashis body and into his brain and into his eyes, and RECREATING the sharingan in kakashi, then they are permanent.
sorry to all you ass pull haters, but you need to try and understand the story and the writing before you judge it.
this story (Naruto) started on the premise of sealing a demon inside an infant. XD
making a contract summoning pact with an undead death god and sacrificing ones soul to seal anothers in hell.
if you want to try and call asspull now, you are 688 chapters too late.
this story is awesome and means a lot, all you have to do is be patient and try to understand what kishimoto is trying to tell you.

If it's truly the end of the manga in a few months many things might not be explained.

I'm using the logic in the manga and naruto verse
It said chakra connects both worlds and I made a theory as to how
Spirit energy from pure world and body energy from impure world which resides in cells/DNA
Chakra is combining both spirit energy and physical energy and that's how chakra connects both worlds

I am not knocking your theory. I thought it was good. I enjoy reading the theories on this site. Some of them are really good and some people put quite a bit of work into them. I'm knocking all of the people who are upset about it being an ass pull.

This is Kishi's story he will do with it what he wishes. Constructive criticism is one thing but there are many people who take it a little too far and take this a little too seriously. This is a story, you either enjoy it or you don't. There are many things in this world that have yet to be explained let alone trying to explain the author's imagination. In the end the author really only has to please themself. Too many people are whining that Kishi has ruined the series and they are going to quit reading it. If that's the case then quit. There's no need to announce it.

Write your own story and post it in fan fiction if you can do any better. It's not easy work to write and draw a story every week for 15 years. If any of you can do better go for it.

I enjoy it and I intend to stick with it until the end. If there is a part 3 I'll read that too.
