[Discussion] Finally I'm at THAT arc (One piece catch up)

Ok so a few months ago I came across some one piece dvd volumes. I think they were the most recent ones that came out in france.

These volumes cover the marineford arc.

I decided to buy them because they weren't very expensive but the problem is, back then, I wasn't caught-up to that arc yet so I had to wait in order to watch them, obviously.

Now, I'm finally at the beginning of the arc and I can't wait to watch it

One piece so far has been awesome and I don't know why I didn't read it before... Oh well, better late than never I guess ^^

Seriously though, everyone I've spoken to told me that this arc was awesome so I hope it is worth the hype it has hehe

The war arc is one of the best arcs I have ever seen/ read. You will definately enjoy it

Good for you. I think most would agree that it is the best arc so far. Certainly the most happening arc by far. One thing though, when I watched the arc, I had no expectations whatsoever. I just hope you expectations don't lessen the magic by any degree.

Definitely one of the best arcs U_U not just for OP, but for the manga industry as a whole. Back when the volumes about that arc were first released, the sales were off the charts even seen after OP standards.

The feels in that Arc are better when you don't know what will happen.

Well um...I watched 483 (ace's last speach basically)...Did not expect this turn of events. I mean, he was freed ok, FREED? Why oda? Why? Why did you have to kill him minutes after he was freed?

I did not cry (lies), I only shed a tear (lies).

Only a few episodes left (I suppose) but man, I can't wait to see how everyone is going to react to that.

The arc has been amazing up to that point though and I can't wait to get to the end of it. From the preview of episode 484, whitebeard looks freaking pissed.

PS: I'm out LOL (haven't read any spoilers in the thread so thanks guys ^^)
