I hate money....

But even if you hate it, it's the biggest factor why this movie is being made. It's hypocritical to say it's only for the fans when obviously it isn't. Either you can look past it or not is up to you.
This film is canon though.
True. Nobody's arguing about that. The RTN example I gave was for the correlation between the amount of exposure of the characters before the movie was released and the actual time they were seen in the movie.

Well, not for everyone. It's starting to piss me off and I'm thinking about dropping the manga until it's finished so that I won't be spoiled any further. I'm sure some who buy the manga feel the same and if so, it would effect chapter sales.

We'll see. Or rather, maybe I shouldn't say we since I'm unsure I'll stick around to find out.

And those who allow the trailer to be released.

For those who don't want to be spoiled, I guess that's the solution.

For myself since I will still go to NB, might as well continue reading it since I'm going to be spoiled by posts from other members anyway.

Dude, don't call me a hypocrite and do not put words into my mouth. I don't like it. It's insulting and I never once insulted you. Instead, I actually agreed with you. I never stated it was solely for the fans and I knew from the start it was a marketing scheme. Virtually every entertainment medium is a marketing scheme because the world and its economy revolves around free enterprise.

This is not the same film.

Unfortunately, I don't even think that is. That doesn't stop me from still reading and watching other anime and manga as well as using fansites, which I likely won't and which I'm sure will still be ripe with spoiler images, comments and thread titles.

The fact Sasuke hasn't been shown yet is a little worrisome.

Aah, I don't think you also understood what I said. :|

I am already aware that you already know that this is a marketing strategy. You've already said that unfortunately it is for the money,we both agreed to it. It would be hypocritical for ANYONE IN THIS FANDOM to think this is only for the fans. Did I ever mention "hypocritical OF YOU?". Nobody is attacking bro. We were just talking.

Yes, different film but handled by the same animation studio, and probably handled by the same people that did it. RTN had the biggest gross of all the movies, most likely they'll do the same formula and marketing strategy they did with that. Which is to continue giving tidbits of this and that to encourage viewers.

I see. Well, I guess it's best to avoid the spoiler threads then.

Anyway, I felt like the more I talk here the more I'll get misconstrued. In conclusion, I think we could agree that this is a marketing strategy, and I've voiced out all my opinions about this matter, and you've also said your side.
I'll leave it to that. :D
