Love or Solitude?
As I sit in my room, I silently wonder,
why my heart aches for you, and why my heart beats louder than thunder,
to think that you’re someone that my heart yearns for,
it comes to me as no surprise, as I am willing to give my life for yours.
My affection for you is unrivalled by my feelings for any other,
but before I fell for you, there was another,
I gave her my all, and for me, there was nothing in return,
she was only there to watch my heart burn.
While part of me wants to be with you,
another part of me doesn’t want these feelings to be true,
for if they were true, you might betray me, like she did,
but then again, back then I was just a weak kid.
