I was really impressed by that anime, easily one of my favourites that I've watched. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't yet seen it.

The ending really surprised me, I didn't actually see it coming until I saw the small exchange between Suzaku and Lelouch.

The show in and of itself was pretty good. Not a huge fan, but I still enjoyed it. Hated the ending though, and I could not stand Lelouch for almost the entire show.

I don't know if you saw the "extra scene" that hints at Lelouch being alive.

I really liked it, it reminded me of V for Vendetta a bit. I liked the ending, it was unexpected and I thought it fit really well.

I can see why you wouldn't like Lelouch.

I did not, but now that you mention it, I must see it O__O

There was a deleted scene at the end showing Lelouch was still alive driving the horse Buggy with CC. It was deleted so the fans can decide for themselves whether it was a happy or sad ending.

Honestly, I would prefer it if Lelouch was to remain dead.

That's why they took that scene out in the first place, so the fans can interpret the ending for themselves. For me, Lelouch survived and is living with CC, isolated from the rest of the world ;).

Yeah, I loved it too! <3 If you haven't seen it already, I recommend Mirai Nikki (Future Diary). It'll blow your mind. I marathoned it in like two days XD I was hooked. You must watch the Ova Redail once finnished too.

Of course, who doesn't. U_U :snick:

A couple of my friends call me an emo, which by definition I kind of am, for liking that kind of anime, haha.

Lol Not really, have they ever sat down and given it a shot? Most of the time the "dark" anime's and manga's have the best plot. Or lot's of plot twists and action and such. They tend to keep you on the edge of your seat, so to speak.

Very true.

The friends who jokingly label me don't even watch anime :|

A truly amazing anime. Lelouch is my all time favorite character =D

Ending also surprised me. I like the ending of him being dead the most as well. Makes his character much more noble.

That's... Lol I don't even... eh. On another note the only think that in Code Geass took me a while to get used to was how.. idk, skinny and "pointy" the people seemed.

That's a fake :coffee: There has never been a so called "extra scene". The directors wanted to let the viewer decide wether Lelouch is alive or not.
