Should i read the AOT manga ?

So lately I have been wondering if should read the AOT manga. As of now, I am just reading 4 mangas so I was thinking of adding another one. I really liked the anime and it is one of my all time favorite.

So whats your opinion on the manga is it good or bad?

Should I read it or wait for the second season of the anime?

And if I decide to start reading, which chapter should start on?

U should also try akame ga kiru, tokyo ghoul and Berserk ( read with caution)......they are better than AOT!! U_U

I recommend! Might not be for everyone though.

EDIT: I would also read it from chp. 1 if you can, makes a big difference imo, I caught up after the anime too.

Its overrated but still good. I would give it a try after its finished.

Ongoing monthly mangas are a pain in the ass, wouldn't burden myself with reading one.

I watch the anime for akame and ghoul and I am really liking both them so far. So i will give berserk a shot !

I personaly like it as an anime,and I heard that there will be 2nd season for sure,so I definetly won't read it.

Yes, you should, its pretty good and the arc we are currently in is interesting.
Edit: The anime is much better indeed but I'd rather read the manga because I don't like to stay behind and the 2nd season probably won't come out any time soon.

I don't know about Berserk but I read both TG and AGK and they don't come close to AoT in my opinion, at least AGK, I'm still to early into TG but what I've seen so far of both haven't impressed me more than AoT. Well only thing I haven't seen so far in AGK and TG are characters like levi and mikasa and that's a plus for me.

Ehh, I have to say that the drawing in the manga is meh at times; it seems more like Seinen than Shōnen. Regardless, the manga is excellent. I recommend the anime at first though, because it has not much fillers (except in the fight scenes, but they are better than what's in the manga). After that, the next season comes next year or you can continue from manga which is also very good tbh. Lives up to it's hype.​
