[Theory] Proof of a new Naruto series??

We all know Naruto is suppose to be ending this year and he obviously has to become hokage at one point in his life. And today we all saw Obito throw some next ratchet thing at us by saying Kakashi will be the next Hokage. Since theres hardly anytime for both of them to be hokage in this series do you think there will be a continuation of the series with Kakashi being the next Hokage?

Or am i just running on very little sleep and sound crazy?


Does make sense tho so since when Tsunade became hokage the original series ended and continued with shippuden series.

Kishi has been hinting at kakashi being hokage ever since post pain arc. And honestly it kinda makes sense, kakashi is an exellent canidate for hokage and i know naruto is an easy hokage canidate and definately deserving but he can learn a lot from studying kakashi as hokage and being his advisor or something. Naruto is still so young and yeah i know gaara being kazekage but this is the leaf village and no matter if naruto is 6th or 7th hokage he'll be amazing but kakashi is def. Deserving of hokage title

That was anime ONLY. Kishi continued his series just the same as normal. Though he may have indeed taken a break to prepare new character designs etc.

So far the series of NARUTO has been ONE series. Shippuden is anime only.

Could naruto have a 3rd part though? Possibly.

Well, I guess Kakashi will ask Naruto to become Hokage & help him in Hokage activities.

Naruto Shippuden is ending but dose not mean a different Naruto series with a time skip and name is being considered at some point and time.

Kakashi becomes Hokage at the end of the series, Sasuke will start as the Hokage in the new movie, the same movie will end with Naruto being Hokage.

There are a few things happening in the manga that could be interpreted as a setup for a new series. You can also probably add the strange background elements to your theory too, like the human silhouette in chapter 687, and the castles that are part of the landscape in Kaguya's dimensions. If they have nothing to do with the story right now, they must be good for something.

I would love to see a part 3 but I can't imagine kakashi becoming hokage after this war. Kakashi has already admitted to his own limitations and to the fact that naruto has basically exceeded him on some many levels. Kakashi, in good faith, will pass over that distinction and give it to naruto. Kishi should've made kakashi hokage back in the danzo arc...that was the right time to do that.

I don't think Kakashi will let down Obito's dreams even though he doesn't want to be Hokage I think he'll step up and be the 6th just like he said. I'd love a Part 3 with the same characters, I just hope they don't pull a LoK on us and change the whole character set.
