The only person who has as much plot-armor as Kakashi right now is the title character [Naruto]. Even Sasuke isn't as plot-armored as Kakashi is. Kakashi already literally died, only to have his father tell him "you still have things to do." He tried using himself as a human shield only to be saved by Obito, and was then proceeded to receive a pep talk from Obito and was instructed to become the 6th Hokage shortly before receiving a power-up. If that isn't death immunity, I don't know what is.

If this was Song of Ice and Fire, perhaps you'd be on to something. But this is Shonen manga, and we're dealing with a tertiary main character here.
