Naruto fans must be the hardest to please in all existing series of manga EVER. All i see is asspull this, lord obito that, plot no jutsu this, just end it kishi that- IT'S WHAT HAPPENED SO DEAL WITH IT.

Also, how is what happened in the latest issue not possible or an asspull? I think it's fantastic and completely possible what with Hagoromo transporting his soul bits throughout centuries- not to mention Indra and Ashura jumping from body to body essentially surfing down the timeline... how do you figure its not impossible for Obito (who has massive amounts of willpower, lets not forget all he lived through so far) to have one last bro-sesh with kakashi and give him some temporary MS?

Stop whining people, honestly it wasn't a terrible chapter.

It does actually make sense Obito became a God after absorbing the Shinju, so he gave Kakashi his eye power. Similar to Hagomoro.

I don't see anything wrong with the chapter. Kakashi needed a power up and it was completely obvious he was next to be hokage. With this, he can work with his students to take down kaguya, AND feel righteous when he takes that next spot as hokage.

..one thing we need now is for sakura to get a power up so she can be relevant.

Gaara became kazekage at about 15 while naruto's now 17. The past 150 chapters or so have been touting how "naruto will be the next hokage", but it's obvious Kakashi will be the next hokage? Lol? Are you serious?

Not necessarily. Lets call Obito a special case, due to the sudden surge of Juubi chakra it allowed him to transcend life and death only temporarily, this can be the case for Madara too. Asura and Indra's powers were immense it's only safe to assume that Obito surpassed their powers ONLY temporarily before he got the tailed beasts extracted. Summed up Juubi Jinchuriki = Ability to transcend life and death itself. Does this make sense because im not the best at explaining?

Of course I'm serious. Kakashi is a genius, anbu captain at age what? 13? He should have been hokage ages ago. He's the only one in the battle now with smarts. He can analyze situations, his battle strategy is great, and now he's got a power up in a temporary version of susanoo. Naruto is stronk as fuark, but he's a nucklehead and reckless as all hell. He's not ready to be a hokage yet, for now the most viable hokage is (and has been for a while) kakashi.

And naruto can rally people behind his cause. Tobirama was smarter than Hashirama(who was, by tobirama's admission, a knucklehead like naruto and, by madara's admission, an idealist like naruto), yet Hashirama became hokage first. Wanna know why? Because hashirama shat on him in terms of power and could make people rally behind him better. Exactly the same with naruto and kakashi.
