Its not an asspull as it is a new power kakashi just got. It wasnt something that kakashi had storing up this whole time but didnt use, obito just died then did a transmigration to kakashi, leading to something unexpected.

You need to have the skill or ability to use the jutsu you copy so unless MS Kakashi have the ability to use it then he didn't copy it. Sasuek stated those with double MS can use Susanoo but MS users only shown to go up to Final Susanoo so he wouldn't have the ability to copy that. Also you can't copy MS jutsus since they are unique to the eyes and if copying MS jutsus were possible then Obito and Itachi would have Shusui's KA yet they don't. PS uses the MS users chakra to create the Susanoo so Obito's chakra+Kakashi chakra might have bumped it to EMS status since Obito had Hashirama DNA as well which gave him the power to control the Gedo Mezo which is a Rinnegan feat.

Kakashi has seen both Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi, He also saw Ms sasuke's susanoo and even enton, also You do not require Uchiha Dna/chakra nor body to unlock and use MS techs, kakashi using kamui is proof of this. So if it applies to Kamui why would it not apply to others such as Amaterasu/Tsukuyomi and susanoo.

Plus sasuke saw itachi form his susanoo, Yet he wasn't able to copy nor use it from the start, he had to start with the ribcage and work his way up.
