This is all based off of the common sense of both the concept of the Byakugou, the Chakra Pathway Systems and how the Gentle Fist works.

The Byakugou
The Byakugou has an automatic effect that continuously heals any damages to the user without any hand seals or conscious thought. CHAKRA stored from within the forehead is released and sent to any damaged location and instantly heals the injury.

The Chakra Pathway System

The Gentle Fist
With the assistance of the Byakugan, the user is able to cause internal damage by using their own chakra to inflict any chakra points and organs near them.

So now, lets take this situation. Hinata strikes the Chakra Points around the heart, as well as doing some damage to the heart itself. Sakura will not be able to heal that damage because the Chakra Points needed to transfer the chakra around their will be blocked. Therefore Sakura cannot heal her internal damages, leaving her vulnerable and giving Hinata a chance to strike further.

Your thoughts?

I'd figure that in their own body at the very least, byakugou would force the chakra points open. They clearly can't stay closed/blocked forever.

It could be debated that Byakugou works in the same was as Naruto's kyuubi reserves, which forcibly opened the points back up.

They cannot be healed, as they are not damaged. But they can be pushed back open.

Er, what? Byakugō heals, repairs and regenerates tissue as fast as it's damaged. The technique wouldn't be worth shit if it didn't. Jūken strikes don't do shit to it.

:/ Maybe, but yes the users are damaged by gentle fist. The sudden stop of chakra flow does massive damage to the organs. Notice Kidomaru and Hinata's status after being hit by Neji's attacks.

Yes. I should have been more clear. The individual points cannot be healed, as closing them is not damaging them. But the sudden surge or loss of chakra damages the organs around them.

Can't force points open unless you release the Gates. Or have a different source of Chakra within.

But this seems... All too obvious, who could possibly deny?

Interesting concept.

I hope Kaguya does it to Sakura.

I want to see how this turns out. I had a hell of a time arguing with someone over how the Yin seal cant heal a damaged chakra network. Good luck

Already been discussed and countered. Either way no matter how you look at it Sakura and Tsunade can counter Gentle fist attacks.
