For years I have wondered about the mystery of Kakashi's mask. What were his reasons behind hiding his facial features? What were his true intentions?
Today, after doing five years of extensive research, I have found the answer.
Part 1:
- Kakashi was born talented and a genius for his age. Everyone in the village acknowledged him, and most female his age lusted for him, similar to Sakura and Ino being head-over-heels for Sasuke. Even then, Kakashi has been shown to wear a mask.
-At first, I thought it was because after Sakumo killed himself, Kakashi couldn't handle showing himself to civilization due to the shame and humiliation he felt. I was wrong. He wore this mask even before his father killed himself, which leads me to the origins of his parents.
Part 2:
- Sakumo was hailed as a genius shinobi, and was praised for his talents in the ninja arts even by the likes of Minato Namikaze. In battle, he was a powerful shinobi, and in his time, his powers were said to surpass those of the Sannin. He was proficient in kenjutsu with his primary weapon during battle being a tantō called the White Light Chakra Sabre that would would emit white chakra when wielded.
- Shinobi have been shown only to emit blue chakra. Tailed beasts emitted different colors of chakra at times. But where did white chakra come from? It has long been a Hatake family secret. Like the Uchiha, who have their Sharingan, the Hatake have white chakra. How does it differ from normal chakra you may ask? I'll be getting to that later.
- Kakashi's mother has very little information on her. All that was said was she died when Kakashi was quite young. It's not too far-fetched to think that his mother came from Konohagakure, and was most likely part of a different clan. But which clan could it be?
Part 3:
-Kakashi, when wielding the Sabre his father gave him, had the same effect. White chakra came from the tantō.
-As time had passed, Kakashi grew older, and reached the point where he met his students, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Sakura Haruno. A filler episode was made that focused solely on the trio trying to unmask their sensei. It ultimately ended up in failure, because underneath the first mask, was a second. What could be possibly be hiding that two mask were necessary?
The Last:
- Kakashi, as you may all know, has lost the Sharingan, which he was world renowned for. What could a mortal such as him, do against a godly being such as Kaguya? I have found the answer.
People enjoyed making up stories and telling rumors about what you would find underneath that mask.
Outrageous assumptions have been made such as:
But the truth is this:
Kakashi has a Rinnegan.
His mother was part of the Senju clan which allowed him to get incredibly massive chakra reserves. "But in the manga Kakashi had low reserves." This is true. He is unable to turn of his Rinnegan, which everybody should realize, takes up a massive amount of chakra. Combined with his constant Sharingan usage, which he also can't turn off, his chakra was being eaten up like Honey Boo Boo to a Cake. Him being only half Senju gave him the inability to turn it off. As a child, Kakashi just did not have the power to use it yet. Now that he is older, and without the Sharingan, he is able to use his complete and true power.
He will be the true savior of all. His Rinnegan tech allows him to use 1000 Jutsus combined into a single entity, which, imagine a Rasengan, but a thousand Jutsus inside of it. This is the power of his Rinnegan. He will be able to annihilate Kaguya in one blow, and now that his best friend is dead, he has all the motivation to do so.
Goodbye Kaguya. It was nice knowing you. And to everyone that made it to the end of my thread, I thank you. It took a lot of effort putting this together, and knowing that some may care, I needed to do so. I <3 you all.
