[Theory] Kaguya corrupted the Shinjuu and not the other way around.

Greetings base! I have been thinking about something and couldn't wait 'till I finished all the things I had to do at work so that I could post it here.

First of all, in order to speak about my theory, I need to say that I belive that Kaguya and the Juubi are the same being. When the tree itself spoke to Madara (Chapter 673) it became obvious to me (after re-reading the chapter) that it was not the tree speaking but Kaguya, and ultimately, they both are one.

However we know that the God Tree was once revered and peacefully cohabited with the people of NV. We can all agree that everything went bad after Kaguya ate the Chakra Fruit. We know she knew specifically that she would come to the Shinobi World and consume the fruit, implying that she already knew about chakra (she knew she needed it). Perhaps she was chakra obsessed even at that point?

So if this is true, perhaps she injected her will (Black Zetsu) into the Shinjuu sending it into a berserker rage and created the Juubi, so when Hagoromo and Hamura sealed her, her will was already out so to speak. I say this because we have seen Zetsu coming in and out of the tree.

All I'm saying is, if Kaguya is the ultimate evil, perhaps she has always been evil and it was her who corrupted the God Tree to begin with.

True, but we know that Hagoromo doesn't know the whole story, for example, if you'll let me have my way saying that the Juubi and Kaguya are the same, Hagoromo didn't know he sealed his mother.

I don't know man, I mean, she came all the way to the Shinobi World and she clearly intended to rule it (this is supported by the fact that she wanted to stop the wars, how come? She isn't even a native of the Shinobi World).

maybe its like narutos story, where she had a lot of power and people feared her then she started hating them in return? maybe she just wanted to help humans at first?

I'm theorizing that the final villain cannot be redeemed and so, to support this theory, she would have to have been evil ever since she first set foot on the Shinobi World.

I think the shinju is the true villain I said this in other theroys ass well there's got to be a price to pay for eating the fruit. I also thought that maybe kaguya has to personalitys one kaguya and one shinju.

I agree and thought it was pretty obvious Kaguya corrupted Shinju. The World Tree is always seen as a divine creation by numerous religions. This also explains why it was pointed out that it was Kaguya's will seeking the chakra and not the tree itself. Not to mention the fact Kaguya is amassing an army...There is obviously more to this story and a reason she sought the tree from "a far away land" to begin with. Kaguya was ALREADY evil.

No, She either merged with the shinju to become the juubi or she transformed into it.

According to hagoromo she got too power obsessed therefore she tried to take back her chakra from hagormo & hamura but failed ....

You do have a point. I do think that kaguya lied to hagoromo about the chakra fruit and such.
I mean, I highly doubt she got her horns and byakugan from eating this "god fruit".....

The fact Kaguya is keeping certain things from Hagoromo likely hints she was pretty vile since before attaining the fruit. I mean, she came from a far away land to eat the fruit to stop a war on the current land?

Or did she hear about the fruit and decided to come for it's power? Sounds like she was corrupted to begin with.
