They do ...animes , music , new mangas & awards in their own magazine from what I've seen .

I know of the Seiyu Awards, but I'm not sure if that's the BIG one or not.

Shogakukan Manga Award are the biggest and venerable manga awards in Japan.

Kodansha Manga Awards are also quite respected

Seiyu Awards are given for voice acting

Bungeishunju manga Award and Osamu Tezuka(given for a particular style) are also revered.

International Manga Award started by Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Aso, are given to non-japanese mangakas.
