That's funny because Kaguya's supposed to have the ability to absorb all ninjutsus. That would include the claw because it's made of chakra. It seems that her ability is not automatic; she has to use it actively, and Naruto's chakra claw was a surprise she wasn't ready for. As was discovered just a few chapters ago, her main weakness is the element of surprise.

She was blitzed so fast she couldn't even think about absorbing chakra.

I think decapitation would not kill her with the level of regeneration she likely posseses like Madara she would regroup it shortly. The reason Naruto went for that arm was because BZ was hiding in it. He's the one that was bad mouthing Obito, he is the one Naruto wants to kill. Removing Kaguyas arm served to seperate them so Naruto can shred BZ next chapter.

Rasengan doesn't cut. He used high speed and I'm pretty sure that it was the power of one of the tailed beasts. They sharpened his hand slash somehow, we'll see.

I agree with this guy.

If you consider Naruto's character, you wouldn't assume he would go for the kill shot anyway. He's not Kakashi. He went for the focus of his anger which was BZ.

or maybe you just don't understand it, If it something that needs to be explain kishi would do it the next chapter, like he always done. He did this with the rescue sasuke thing and the back story to how kaguya came to be.

naruto has 9 bijuu inside of him, half of them we don't know which power they are capable of giving to him.

Don't just simple read the manga and not think about things as to why it might have happen that way, or else you will come off sounding ignorant.
