Obito went through two events, while Sasuke went through a string of them. Sasuke has been through more than Obito.

My point is that obito tried to redeem himself just like sasuke is currently doing.

Sasuke isn't trying to redeem himself, he doesn't care what everyone has to say. He already said he only went to the battlefield to protect the village and now he's protecting the world. Its just a coincidence, he isn't asking for forgiveness at all. Obito's crimes were on a WHOLE different level compared to Sasuke's. If Sasuke is forgiven it will be fine as he is trying to save it, not destroy it as Obito planned on.

The only thing Sasuke did that was actually bad was joining the Akatsuki. Killing Danzo wasn't bad at all, as he did already lose credibility at the Kage Summit. And before you bring it up, he wasn't attacking the Kage Summit, it was an infiltration mission that failed due to Zetsu. He never attacked anyone, they attacked him. Taking the Hachibi's tail wasn't just Sasuke's fault, it was also Bee's. He allowed Sasuke to get away when he could've of easily stopped him right there.

Actually it is. He was being controlled. Unlike Sasuke who was just power hungry, selfish and had a weird revenge fetish.

Obito committed the crimes he did because he watched Rin die. If anything Sasuke has much more reasoning behind his crimes than Obito.

He's not asking for fogiveness. Sasuke committed the crime by attacking a bijuu, but Bee allowed Sasuke to get away with the tail. If Sasuke lead to the Juubi's revival then so did Bee. Because you and I both know he could've of easily stopped Sasuke.

1. Naruto's statement to Obito was inappropriate, irrelevant and uncalled for, considering who he is and what he did. What exactly is the harm again? Isn't he alive? Very miniscule act compared to Obito infiltrating the Leaf and killing Hiruzen's wife and summoning the Kyubi to kill innocent civilians. What else did Sasuke do? Hmm? Infiltrate the summit to look for Danzo? Besides a bunch of fodder samurai, who exactly did he kill? Didn't Ei and the others attack Sasuke when he was only focused on Danzo? As Ii recall, they are shinobi. If someone attacks a Shinobi then they will attack back. Obito is a pathetic character with no self control who wanted to take over the world because he couldn't get what he wanted. Sasuke never wanted to take over the world. He focuses on certain people who made his life hell like Itachi, Danzo and the elders of the Leaf. Comparing Sasuke's crimes to Obito's crimes only makes you look really foolish and the fact that you are trying to pit Obito's crimes on Sasuke makes you a sad pathetic sight.

Sasuke was saying those words just because currently no one knows about the truth behind uchiha massacre besides naruto,kakashi and sasuke.
